WITHDRAWAL FROM THE CONTRACT AND RETURN OF NEW PRODUCTS

When purchasing at a distance (online purchase), the consumer may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the purchase or of receiving the product, without giving any reason, and return the product. The notice of withdrawal from the order/contract (statement at the link) must be sent in writing to the business address: Shine Brown d.o.o, Pod topoli 5, 1218 Komenda, Slovenia, as specified in the Basic information section, or by email to support@byrokko.com. The statement sent by the consumer must clearly show that they are withdrawing from the contract concluded in the Online Store. The invoice number must also be attached. The direct cost of returning the goods is the only cost borne by the buyer in connection with the withdrawal from the contract.

In the event of withdrawal from the contract, the company shall refund all payments received without delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the notice of withdrawal and the returned products that are the subject of the contract. The company shall refund payments to the consumer using the same means of payment used by the consumer, unless the consumer has expressly requested the use of a different means of payment and does not incur any costs as a result. The company may withhold the refund until it has received the returned goods or until the consumer has provided proof that the goods have been sent back. If the consumer has already received the goods and withdraws from the contract, they shall return or hand over the goods to the company or to a person authorised by the company to receive them without delay and no later than 14 days after the notice, unless the company offers to collect the returned goods itself. The consumer is deemed to have returned the goods on time if they are sent before the 14-day return period expires.

The consumer is liable for any reduction in the value of the goods if the reduction results from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics or functioning of the goods. The consumer is not liable for any reduction in the value of the goods if the company has not informed them of the right to withdraw from the contract.

The right of withdrawal exists so that you can open and inspect the product and, if it does not suit you or your expectations were different, withdraw from the purchase. Withdrawal from the purchase is possible in the original packaging, which must not be damaged. The original packaging must also not be opened.

Because we want the withdrawal process to run smoothly, we have prepared a short list of things to pay attention to when buying at a distance:

• open the parcel carefully and keep it in unchanged condition until you are completely sure the product is suitable (when returning an item, please return the undamaged, unopened original packaging),
• handling the product may cause damage and scratches, especially to products with lacquered surfaces (or labels on the packaging) – such damage and scratches are not covered by a complaint, and the price of the returned product will also be reduced,
• visible signs of use (dust, hairs, scratches, stains, dirt) on the original packaging, or opened packaging, are not acceptable for withdrawal from the contract, as they are hygienically unacceptable.
